The Peadato Foundation, in collaboration with the Ankaase Methodist Hospital, successfully organized a three-day Cervical Cancer Awareness Campaign from the 18th to the 20th of February, 2026. The initiative was aimed at increasing public awareness
about cervical cancer, promoting early detection, and providing accessible screening services to women in the community. The campaign recorded a remarkable turnout, with over 200 clients were screened across the three days.

Day 1—18th February 2026: Awareness Float & Screening

 The campaign began with a lively community float through key areas to raise awareness about cervical cancer, including its risks, prevention, and the need for regular screening. Screening services were also available on the first day. The multimodal van supported the activities, helping to increase visibility and expand outreach.The team at Ankaase Methodist Hospital provided a warm and welcoming environment, making participants feel comfortable and encouraging more people to take part in the screening exercise.

Day 2– 19th February, 2026: Screening Session

The second day was dedicated entirely to cervical cancer screening. Clients continued to turn out in encouraging numbers, reflecting the growing community interest and trust in the campaign. The screening process was conducted efficiently and professionally, ensuring clients received quality care and information.

Day 3– 20th February, 2026: Screening Session
